our second visit to this hotel, its still as we remembered it, rooms were large, clean and comfortable. Alittle on the dark side with it being an older property and small window. Good selection of teas and biscuits provided. Lots of lovely fresh fluffy towels too. We ate in the bistro at night and the food was lovely and had breakfast on the mornings and that was excellent too. Parking is a little awkward, we had to park on the street in front to unload cases and then received a leaflet of how to find the carpark to the rear when we checked in

Spacious room with separate bedroom and lounge allowed us to spread out and relax more between events of the comp we were at. Bathroom was roomy as well, didn't feel cramped. Electric blankets in the bed were divine, perfect for those chilly nights so we could have a good sleep. The kitchenette was great, we were able to make our own food and the fridge was a good size for staring everything. Very happy overall!

The room was on the second floor fortunately there is a lift. The hotel is a heritage building and maintains the features of the time, high ceilings, sash windows. We had a bathroom with a wet floor, walk in shower and other features for people with mobility issues, handles, rails etc. all very practical and marvellous if you needed them.

We luxuriated in olde-world charm. Central position. Having kitchen facilities made quick catering possible. The washing machine and dryer would be found useful for travellers.

Friendly staff, great location on main street making it a good position for a walk around the town. Spotlessly clean room, lovely bathroom. Free parking at rear of property. Breakfast not included however there is a lovely breakfast menu in the neighbouring building (part of the same business). Our two night stay here gave us a real feel of an old Australian town. Lots to do around here. It was not one of the finest properties we stayed in during our tour but for some reason it was memorable in a wonderful way, we were very happy there. Really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it.

We loved the hotel, the room which was large and clean with a comfortable bed and the bathroom was a good size and just lovely. The location was central, and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. The bar and lounge were a nice space to relax in and the food tasty and reasonably priced.
